Mayor Yüksel: "We are producing solutions to Kartal's problems together with the muhtars."

During the visit, organized under the chairmanship of Kartal Mukhtars Association President Soner Eker on the occasion of October 19th Mukhtars Day, the mukhtars were welcomed at the door of Kartal Mayor Gökhan Yüksel’s office.

During the visit, Mayor Yüksel emphasized that neighborhood headmen (muhtars) are the first and most important representatives of local governments, noting that they work with them to find solutions to Kartal's problems. Adding that neighborhood headmen are an indispensable element of democracy, Mayor Yüksel announced the good news of new projects in the coming days. Following the friendly visit, Mayor Gökhan Yüksel and 20 neighborhood headmen (muhtars) of Kartal posed for a photo to commemorate the significance of the day.
